Grambling State – Baseline Double

Grambling State, coached by Freddie Murray, used a simple double screen on the baseline to get the ball in the hands of their guard on the wing. This is a simple action that creates an open catch on the perimeter. Here, the guard used a shot fake on her catch before driving to the basket. She made an excellent pass to her teammate for the easy bucket down low. This set is a great example of how basic actions can give structure to offensive flow while still allowing players the freedom to make decisions and play.
