Murray State – UCLA Doubles

Murray State, coached by Matt McMahon, ran this action to get the ball in the hands of their scorer in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament in 2021. The scorer used a UCLA cut and then received a double screen for the catch on the wing. This is a good example of how setting good screens will make you more open. Here, the post player set a solid screen, causing his defender to help on the guard using the screen. The guard made a great pass to his open teammate down low for the finish at the rim.
