This simple action will quickly get the ball into the hands of your scorer. The Phoenix Suns, lead by Monty Williams, used it to score a layup in the fourth quarter against the Portland Trailblazers. From a horns set, the post player set a flare screen for the guard to catch the ball in the slot opposite the ball handler. Here, the defense chased over the top of the flare screen to prevent the three point shot. The guard made the correct decision and got to the rim in one dribble to score a layup.
