Syracuse – Spread Iso

The Syracuse Orange, coached by Quentin Hillsman, ran this set in the First Round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament to isolate their post player. They began in a stack on the right lane line. Once the ball handler dribbled to the wing, the guards sprinted to the three point line, leaving the post isolated on the block. Here, South Dakota State doubled the initial post entry pass but because they had to respect the Orange from the three point line, the second post entry lead to great look at the rim.
