X’s and O’s Showcase – Golden State Warriors – Post Punch

The Golden State Warriors used this set to get an easy layup at the rim. It was effective for a few different reasons. The first is because of the movement away from the basketball. The Warriors reversed the basketball and set 4 different off ball screens. The second is the best shooter set the screen that lead to the score. The defense had to respect Steph Curry so they hesitated to help, leading to an open shot. The Warriors patience allowed them to capitalize on the defensive confusion and score in the paint.
