X’s & O’s Showcase – Denver Nuggets – Elbow Hand Off

Denver used this set at the end of their playoff matchup against Phoenix to get an open three point shot. It started out of a horns set where the post player and the best shooter were the screeners. When the point guard dribbled to the side of the shooter, he cut down to the basket and the post player flashed to the ball side elbow. After the elbow entry, the shooter cut through the middle of the paint to get a hand off for a shot near the top of the key. This is great execution from Coach Michael Malone’s team.
