X’s & O’s Showcase – Iowa – Stagger Curl Pindown

The Iowa Hawkeyes, lead by Lisa Bluder, used this set to get a three point shot on the wing during their Sweet Sixteen matchup against UCONN in 2021. After the defense switched the initial stagger screen curl action, the second screener made an excellent decision to screen the screener. Though UCONN defended this well, the pin down screen gave the shooter just enough time to get off a great look at the three point line. Great shot by Iowa.
