X’s & O’s Showcase – Milwaukee Bucks – Zipper AI Curl

Milwaukee ran this play to get an open three point shot in the corner against the Miami Heat during game 2 in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. The desired shooter, Bryn Forbes, set 2 screens: a zipper and a rub screen on an AI cut. Once the ball was on the wing, Forbes cut to the rim before sprinting into a hand off for a corner three point shot. Young players can learn a lot by watching Forbes change of speed here. He was able to lose his defender because of his quick burst of speed. Incredible execution from the Milwaukee Bucks.
